Tastes much grander than it is. The Gevrey Chambertin wine has high colour, is intensively aromatic, evoking blackberries and other small red and black fruits. A well built wine, combining blending tannins with abundant mellowness. The grapes come from the vineyards from the village of Gevrey Chambertin in the north of the Cte de Nuits. Soil : clay and limestone.
