Arnot-Roberts, Pinot Noir Legan Vineyard, 2019 SPAINCOUNT0125 but here given the spotlightThis Arnot Roberts Pinot comes from Legan, a rugged own rooted, dry farmed vineyard sitting at 1,600 feet above Corralitos in the southern Santa Cruz Mountains, ringed by redwood forest. The deep Monterey Bay offshore canyon drives a constant upwelling of cold water that cools the whole region, stretching out the growing season and coaxing real delicacy from the Pinot. The sandy loam soils give a silky, aromatic wine full of earth driven minerality
