Tamdhu translates as "little dark hill." The distillery's self bottled single malts are matured exclusively in Spanish sherry casks. Since 2013, the distillery has been owned by the Ian Macleod company, which also owns Glengoyne and Rosebank. The Tamdhu Cuatro Reserva honors the distillery's
